Apostle and bishops conference at Dennekraal
On Thursday 19 and Friday 20 April 2007 all the apostles and bishops of the Cape Apostle District gathered at Dennekraal Conference Centre for a meeting with District Apostle Barnes. The district apostle recently returned from a meeting with the chief apostle and in his gathering with the apostles and bishops shared with them a number of topical issues highlighted by the chief apostle.
Some of the agenda items included the following:
1. The visit of the chief apostle to Cape Town on 2 September 2007.
2. Ongoing enhancements to the information technology infrastructure.
3. Understanding the concept of original sin.
4. Further training initiatives for ministers and facilitators.
5. The confirmation of the 2006 financial statements and the re-appointment
of the Church’s external auditors.
District Apostle Barnes also shared a few thoughts in respect of the text
word Daniel 6, a portion of verse 16, “Your God, whom you serve continually,
He will deliver you.” The foundation of this spiritual enrichment lay
in key thoughts that the chief apostle gave to all the district apostles world-wide.
