Invited to this divine service were the school children and staff members of a local school. Some 290 learners and 18 teachers accepted the invitation and shared in an experience of a lifetime.

After service the choir conductor, assisted by the entire congregation, took the opportunity of teaching the visitors two hymns from the New English Hymnal. The principal of the school thanked the rector for this invitation and promised to invite parents to this service next year: “It was moving and I will have all the parents here next year to share in the joy which the children experienced.”
