The fathers of the congregation of Hopetown were in for a special surprise when they received extra special treatment from the congregation after the divine service on their day, Father’s Day.

The Sunday school children were first to present the fathers with a cup filled with sweet treats, followed by the rest of the congregation joining in warm fellowship with a cup of warm soup and bread which was prepared by the mothers of the congregation.
The day proved to hold special significance for some of the fathers with Brother R Graham and Brother S Koopman celebrating milestone birthdays on the day.
