The members of the congregation of Parow spent a wonderful day out in the sun at the Naval Base near Fish Hoek to celebrate the end of the year on 12 November 2011.

Great joy reigned in the congregation of Bellville South on Sunday 17 July when during the divine service conducted by Shepherd L Thomas, four babies were baptised and a very special birthday girl, Sophia Arendse, was wished from the altar.

It was 80 years ago when Sophia Arendse came into this life, and her secret to longevity lies in that she knows what her source of strength is; striving to live the fruits of the Holy Spirit and the Great Commandment. After the service the congregation shared their best wishes and joy with her when Sister Arendse was invited to greet with the shepherd in front of the altar.
