The firemen came out to play with the Sunday school children of the congregation of Bellville South, on Tuesday 15 June 2010, when they presented the children with fire-fighting techniques which formed part of the educational interaction segment of the winter school programme held at their congregation.

During re-enactments of life threatening situations, the children were taught how to handle a high pressure hose for fire-fighting purposes and were instructed on the various emergency steps to be taken once a fire is spotted.
