On Sunday 15 March 2009, Apostle A Muyendekwa served in Ngweze congregation.
This divine service was for all the confirmands of the Caprivi East, West, Interior and Central districts. They were accompanied by their rectors and Sunday school teachers. On the Saturday morning before this divine service some 64 confirmands had a day filled with fun and laughter. This was the first time that they had the opportunity to gather in such a group and many new friends were made. When Sunday came they all felt comfortable around each other and this paved the way for a better understanding of the divine service with the Apostle. After the divine service, Apostle Muyendekwa held a lesson for the confirmands and thereafter went on to hold a meeting with all the rectors during which they were each handed a gift from District Apostle N Barnes. They were all very excited about this and posed for a photograph with the Apostle having put their new ties (the gift) on. This gathering also served as a fitting preparation for the upcoming visit of Chief Apostle W Leber for a divine service with the confirmands next month.
