Apostle Muyendekwa visits Situlu congregation |
|
Isaiah 12:2-3 served as the basis for the divine service conducted by Apostle A Muyendekwa in Situlu congregation on Wednesday 10 June 2009.
A total of 11 souls were sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit in this service.
The first visit of an apostle to this congregation took place in 1972 when the then Apostle J Njamba from Zambia came to bless the members. Shortly after this the Situlu area became a war zone and the members in this congregation moved to safer areas. This led to the closure of the congregation. Years after the war, the work of God was rekindled in this congregation and it now boasts an attendance of 160 dedicated members.
From this divine service the Apostle rushed off to Katima-Mulilo congregation where he had 64 souls awaiting him for sealing.
