Fond reminiscing in Lotus River East

On Sunday 20 December 2009 the District Apostle Barnes visited the congregation of Lotus River East after a cycle of six years

Prior to the commencement of the divine service the rendition of musical items by the musicians, in particular the male choir, added to a blessed festive feeling within the congregation. Their piece, “A little baby boy”, portrayed a beautiful reflection on the joy of Advent.
During the divine service the district apostle reminisced fondly of how this congregation was built with the help of voluntary laborers; many of whom are in the beyond today. The Lotus River East church was dedicated on 31 May 1970.
With the countdown to Christmas Day just five days away, the visit of the district apostle added a joyous element to the preparation of this annual highlight on the Christian calendar.
