674 stations connected to Tafelsig!

On Sunday 31 January 2010 a simulated image of Pentecost, Sunday 23 May 2010, was created when the members of the Cape district church was served by District Apostle Barnes from the congregation of Tafelsig.
On the day 674 stations were connected to the network via audio visual transmission with the congregation of Tafelsig serving as the hub of activity.
The unified image of 400 ministers seated on the ground floor gave the organizers a foretaste of what the projected image would be when the apostles from across the globe will arrive in the Mother City, Cape Town, for the International Apostles Meeting.
The expressive singing of the choir paved the way for a high-spirited divine hour. The divine service took an unusual twist which boasted a question and answer session with the Sunday school children who comprised of members from the Sunday school choir.
Time to say goodbye; for the ministers and members in the care of Bishop Ralph Hardick this was a bitter/sweet moment. After many years of laboring and serving the children of God, the time for his retirement has now come.
The members from the Cape district church anxiously await the culmination of what promises to be a most blessed Pentecost 2010!
