ministers and the youth who were present during their information session on Tuesday 10 February 2009. The Voorbrug church building hosted this gathering and Bishop P Thompson led the proceedings. The information evening commenced with the youth reminiscing on all the activities of last year and on top of the list was the Youth Convention 2008. Then there was an exercise which saw ten members of the audience tying balloons on strings to their ankles. The moral of the exercise soon became clear: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. The programme for the whole year was then unveiled. Some time was also spent on discussing the Ukwaba-project, which will see the youth assisting in collecting non-perishable foodstuffs and clothes for donation to the needy. At the conclusion of the evening the young people felt inspired and motivated to really shine in 2009.
