On Saturday 7 March 2009 the Sunday school children of Nooitgedacht district were invited to a workshop arranged by the coordinators of the district.
By 09:30 on this Saturday morning the children started arriving at the local library with much excitement, owing to the fact that this was the first time they had ever been exposed to such an activity. The organisers used this opportunity to discuss topics relating to them as children: such as, being in Sunday school, their relationships with each other in class and their attitude towards their Sunday school teachers and the ministers. All of this was illustrated by means of a puzzle. During rest periods between interesting discussions, these youngsters were served with snacks and, from time to time, sang songs together. The day drew to a close and after a closing prayer they had to prepare to go home. After the prayer each received a party pack, a juice and a few pieces of stationery. All who participated left with joyous hearts and more insight as to why they are in Sunday school.
