The youth of Valhalla Park district visited the Christine Ravell children’s home on Saturday 11 April 2009 for an Easter awareness program.
Here, they brightened every corner with Easter eggs and engaged some 23 children on an Easter egg hunt. After all the fun searching for the Easter eggs in their gardens, the children sat down to enjoy their find. One girl celebrated her 5th birthday and felt really special with all the attention that was focused on her. Christine Ravell is home to 35 children and 12 of them were in the care of foster parents during the Easter holidays.
