The congregation of Oxford Street joined thousands of members across the Cape District Church when they participated in the festive divine service conducted by District Apostle N Barnes.

On Sunday 8 May 2011 the members of the congregations of East London, Parkside, Gonubie and Buffalo Flats congregated at the Buffalo Flats church where they figuratively took leave of a group of young children whom they had loved and nurtured for many years.

It was a bright cheery day for children, especially the young patients at the Frere Hospital in East London, as well as the Sunday school children from Chiselhurst who travelled to the Oncology Ward of the hospital.
