Monday 7 March 2010 was a significant day in the lives of the children who call the Sparrows Children’s Home in Tarkastad their home.

On this day Priest A Felix from the congregation of Tarkastad was accompanied by the members of the congregation to the home where he presented a cheque to the value of R1 000 to the manager. The cheque comprised of donations made by the members who walked for charity on Saturday 13 February 2010.
