Oxford Street congregation celebrated the arrival of spring with a spring walk on the beach on 5 September 2009 to which the entire congregation was invited.
Members of the congregation arrived at the meeting point at 8am. With excitement in the air they made their way to the beach where they were  greeted by the local life guards who showed  them a demonstration on safety at the beach. This was very exciting for the children as they were bubbling with questions.
The day wasn’t over yet as they made their way back to the “camp” where the delicious aroma of hamburger and boerewors greeted them.  This was surely a wonderful way to celebrate the commencement of the season of new life.
