On Saturday 18 July 2009 the District of Eureka took to the streets as part of the Recycle for Life project and termed the day’s event as “67 minutes of community service”.

Vrijzee Royals went up against Vasco Kings XI Punjab in the final of the VLP Cricket Challenge and the Royals took the cup.
