The Jubilee Retirement Home has for some time served as the venue for midweek divine services for the senior members from Vasco district who reside at the home.

Wednesday 2 June 2010, was a significant day for the residents of the home.  Later that evening, Apostle J Kriel would serve them for the first time at this venue. Blessed moments of divine bliss were experienced by the members who were joined by the retired ministers from the district. After the divine service they, together with the Apostle, joined in fellowship. One of the senior sisters received a surprise visit from the Apostle who also spent a few moments of fellowship with her.
