On Saturday 18 July 2009 the District of Eureka took to the streets as part of the Recycle for Life project and termed the day’s event as “67 minutes of community service”.
During this time they went through the area picking up papers and collecting newspapers. With the support of the local police officers the event was successful and also created a fair amount of awareness for the project.
