When the call went out to the members of the Elsies River and Retreat Bishop Areas to join Apostle J Kriel along with Bishops G James and N Warner for their monthly walk, this did not fall on deaf ears. At 08:00 on Saturday 14 November 2009 some 300 willing and enthusiastic participants arrived at the Seapoint Promenade to join them.
Throughout the year this interest group has grown and their numbers have steadily increased. These walks not only serve to vitalize body and mind but also strengthen the bonds in the family and congregation as there is common ground which creates a feel good congregation.
