In this instance looking back had no bad results as was the case with Lot’s wife; it brought back memories of a never to be forgotten event. The young people of the Pacaltsdorp district invited the confirmands of 2009 and their parents to a meeting, which was to serve as part of their preparation for the divine service that the Chief Apostle will have with the confirmands on Palm Sunday. And what better way to do that preparation than looking back to February 2008, when the Chief Apostle served the youth of the Cape District Church at Sahara Park, Newlands. In the meeting the youth also relived some of the events that took place in the past year and this made the confirmands really look forward to exciting years in the youth. Bishop L Lakey and District Elder C Dreyer were also present to share encouraging thoughts with the confirmands.
