On Friday 13 February 2009 the youth members of Pacaltsdorp district hosted a Valentine’s ball.
The venue was the local civic hall and as the guests arrived they entered a beautifully decorated venue, which effectively reflected the occasion. A special program was presented while the guests were treated to a 3 course meal. A group of Ballroom dancers gave demonstrations and representative of the youth group performed special songs for the audience. To add to the excitement prizes were given to the best dressed single and couple, as well as spot prizes to those who found lucky numbers under their seats.
