Gathered at the graveside of the late Apostle A Mitas were all the priestly ministries of the Pacaltsdorp District – active and retired – along with their wives. This was in response to the invitation extended to them by District Elder C Dreyer in preparation for the service for the departed of Sunday 1 March 2009. The Saturday could not really have been spent in any other way by this group than to focus on the departed and extend a helping hand to them in prayer. The choir members of the district were also invited to further enhance this preparation. This afternoon’s activity was concluded by everyone joining in singing the hymn “For you I am praying”.
