Seniors from Pacaltsdorp get a taste of the wild

seniors weekend music hour 096District Elder C Dreyer conducted a divine service in the congregation of Bridgton on Sunday 25 October 2009 and on this occasion he was accompanied by the senior members of the congregation of Pacaltsdorp.

After the divine service the visiting seniors were treated to a refreshing cup of tea before departing for the Cango Wildlife Ranch where they came face to face with the wildlife by interacting with hand reared cheetahs. They did their share in becoming actively involved in helping to save this species from extinction.
Hunger pangs set in and all too soon they had to leave the cuddly cheetahs behind as a scrumptious meal had been prepared for them in a nearby hall in Oudtshoorn. The venue was beautifully decorated to the theme of Christmas, which brought about excitement as it signaled that the festivities for the year were about to start.
Another exciting day came to an end and the group made their way to the bus with which they travelled home to their loved ones who anxiously awaited their arrival.
