On Saturday 8 May 2010 the Sunday school children and their teachers from the congregation of Sydenham arrived at their congregation ready to participate in the first Recycle for life project for the year.

With the help of their teachers, the children were able to construct baskets by reshaping 2liter cooldrink bottles. The baskets were later personalized by adding sparkles and colours after which they filled it with sweets. They presented the baskets to their mothers after the divine service on Mother’s Day, Sunday 9 May 2010.
