Sunday 16 May 2010 marked the commemoration of the 26th International Aids Candlelit Memorial Day.

With a special poster display, the congregation of Sydenham used the occasion to draw attention to the affects of HIV / AIDS. The day was also marked by the lighting of a candle in remembrance of those infected and affected by the pandemic.
