The winter holiday programme for the Sunday school children of the congregation of Korsten kicked off with a bang when they with much enthusiasm arrived at the church at 10h00 on Monday 21 June 2010 for the commencement of what promised to be one of the most exciting holiday periods to date.

The Sunday school teachers wasted no time in reactivating the Recycle for Life theme by constructing garments from recycled paper and plastic.
On Friday 25 June 2010 they visited The House of Resurrection home where their childlike natures brought a smile to the face of many individuals who reside and find comfort at the home.
