The retired ministers of Tableview district and their wives received a special invitation from the newly appointed district elder for Tableview district, Eugene Adams, to join him at Melkbosstrand on Sunday 22 November 2009 as he would be conducting a divine service in the congregation.
On Monday 16 November 2009 many of the district ministries of the Tableview district and their families awoke with aches and pain which was as a result of them enjoying a day of fun and games at the Maritz Bowling Club the previous day.
