Apostle C van der Merwe arrived at the congregation of Kensington South on Sunday 28 February 2010 to the sound of a foreign yet welcoming phrase echoed by the Sunday school children; Aloha and welcome to Kensington South!

After the divine service the children presented the ministers with brightly coloured Lei’s and introduced the congregants to the tropical island of Haiwai on which two congregations have been established; Hilo and Wahiawa. The morning’s activity was enjoyed by all as they familiarized themselves with the apostles of the Haiwaian area who will be visiting Cape Town in the coming days.
