Who said bowling is for seniors?

Victory is GreatOn Monday 16 November 2009 many of the district ministries of the Tableview district and their families awoke with aches and pain which was as a result of them enjoying a day of fun and games at the Maritz Bowling Club the previous day.

All the rectors and their families arrived at the bowling club where the men immediately got to work as they were the designated cooks for the day. Their culinary expertise in the form of the traditional braai was put to the test. This was the ideal opportunity for the ladies to get some bowling lessons from the professionals.

By the time the serious competition started, the females had mastered the greens and the woods and gave the men a run for their money. Some male egos were even left shattered on the green, green grass. There was only some consolation in the delicious meal they could enjoy with their families.

Fun and laughter could be heard on every strip of the bowling club as this activity proved to be an excellent way to engage and interact with one another. Renewed respect was born for those who play more than 21 games per session.
