The retired ministers of Tableview district and their wives received a special invitation from the newly appointed district elder for Tableview district, Eugene Adams, to join him at Melkbosstrand on Sunday 22 November 2009 as he would be conducting a divine service in the congregation.

This group of seniors enjoyed a thought provoking divine service in the midst of the resident members of Melkbosstrand whom they later thanked for sharing their church hall with them.  After the divine service they were treated to refreshments and also used the opportunity to acquaint themselves with one another.
