Michelle Smit, a youth member of the congregation of Protea Heights was left paralyzed after a tragic car accident.

The members of the congregation thought it very fitting to make her life a little simpler and so donated generously towards the purchasing of a laptop on which she can perform all her daily technical tasks.

On Christmas Day, Friday 25 December 2009, Shepherd Stegmann presented Michelle with the gift from the congregation. She accepted it graciously as it will serve as a conscious reminder of the love that her fellow brothers and sisters have for her.
