The Sunday school children from the congregation of Scottsdene had so much fun on the first day of the Winter School holiday programme, Tuesday 15 June 2010, that they invited all their friends in the neighbourhood to join them.

Beading, painting wooden key holders and the making of scatter cushions were but a few of items they made from scratch which will be sold at the upcoming Thanksgiving market day. The children were rewarded, on their final day of the holiday programme, Thursday 24 June 2010, with a visit from fire marshals. The marshals arrived in a big red truck, ready to educate the children on fire safety tips and later giving them a rundown of how they are able to effectively fulfil their tasks as firemen.
