On Saturday 28 November 2009 a group of 25 Sunday school children, teachers and ministers from Wallacedene congregation excitedly made their way to Strand beach for a highly anticipated surf walk.
The children could barely contain themselves upon arrival at their seaside destination. With the sun on their backs they paced along the white beach sand, but it wasn’t long before the surf walk turned into surf swim! The children had fun-filled moments as they frolicked in the cool waters and waves. After an exciting morning at the beach the group made their way back home and thanked their teachers for allowing them to have fun in the sun.
