Renewed conviction in Factreton East

FE 004-640
On Wednesday 24 March 2010 District Apostle N Barnes entered the parking lot of the congregation of Factreton East where he was scheduled to conduct a divine service.

Upon arrival his eyes lit up at the vast array of colourful cultural garments worn by the Sunday school children.
The garments represented the nationalities of several of the Apostles who will accompany Chief Apostle Leber to Cape Town in the coming days. Before entering the sacristy, the District Apostle stopped to listen to the delightful singing of the Sunday school children who soon after presented him with the official World Cup soccer ball.
A special ambience was created by the anticipation in the hearts of the members who had waited for these moments of divine bliss for some time. During the course of the divine service, the District Apostle thanked Community Evangelist M Lakey for the many years he had sacrificed and laboured in caring for God’s children with love. He then placed the Evangelist into well-deserved retirement.
After the divine service the members went their separate ways with the renewed conviction that faith leads to victory.
