On Wednesday 20 January 2010, District Apostle Noel Barnes visited the congregation of New Orleans , Paarl.

On this occasion he was accompanied by Apostles John Stephens, Brian De Vries as well as Bishops Johan Bucchianeri and Alvin Witten.
The congregation comprised of the resident members of New Orleans and Drakenstein Suid as well as the ministers and their spouses of Paarl North, Paarl East and Wellington districts.
The excitement and anticipation for the visit of the District Apostle could be sensed among approximately 1300 congregants. The mixed choir, orchestra and the children’s choir contributed towards a divine ambience in the congregation.
