It was love at first sight when Roy Bennett and Kitty Oppel first laid eyes on each other.

Roy was the patient wheeled down the corridors of Groote Schuur Hospital and Kitty one of the nurses there to care of him.
On Sunday 21 February 2010 the congregation of Forest Village felt the love in the air as they celebrated with the Bennetts. Their union had lasted 25 years and they received the Silver wedding anniversary blessing during a divine service conducted by District Elder E Meyer.
