Honouring 25 years

The days leading up to the first Sunday in February were that of meticulous preparation as the congregation of Thornton awaited the visit of Bishop G James. For Carol and Russell Smith this week also held great significance as it was the celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary.
On Sunday 7 February 2010 Bishop G James served the congregation of Thornton and during the course of this service he called Carol and Russell to the altar where the bestowed the Silver wedding anniversary blessing upon them.
