Lillian and Frederick Poggenpoel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with their loved ones and family members on Tuesday 3 November 2009. The golden couple confesses that the cornerstone of their marriage is the Lord and with that knowledge requested a special blessing to be bestowed upon them.

District Elder P Aghoo bestowed the Golden wedding anniversary blessing upon the golden couple on Sunday 6 December 2009 in the congregation of Bonteheuwel Central with the congregation present as witness to this blessed event in their marriage.
