Love and compassion extended to all

A service of love and compassion was celebrated by all New Apostolic Christians on Sunday 1 November 2009.

On this momentous occasion the members of the congregation of Dunrobin had not only opened their hearts to the departed brethren who were in need of help, but also to the living that were in a similar situation. In this time many go through trials and tribulations of which we are sometimes unaware.

After the festive divine service the members and ministers made their way to the Bellville Night shelter where they handed over a donation of perishable and non-perishable goods to the managing staff. The staff expressed their sincere gratitude and added: “This will go a long way with us”. Before going their separate ways they rendered a few anthems to the residents and staff who later begged for an encore. The members expressed their own thankfulness at being able to help those less fortunate than they are.
