Seven ladies join Avon

The members of Avon congregation displayed their caring nature when the deacons escorted seven senior citizens from the Ida Burger House to their congregation for a divine service which was conducted by Bishop G James.

After the divine service the senior members along with the Sunday school choir children and youth members made their way to the Home where lunch was served. The background music was supplied by the children and youth as they rendered a programme of Christmas carols. The members present pledged their continued support to the management of the Ida Burger House.
