Retreat West dares to care for Family in Focus

The members of Retreat West congregation approached the Department of Social Development who provided them with the necessary details pertaining to the Family in Focus non-profit organization. This organization is situated in Athlone and cares for under-privileged families in the area.

The congregation donated generously towards the provision of a special three coarse meal to be served to the under-privileged on Sunday 6 December 2009. With many of the little children from disadvantaged backgrounds there was no better surprise than the arrival of Santa Claus who had many goodies in his bag.
