It seemed like a case of football fever broke out when the youth along with the ministers from Retreat Bishop Area gathered at the congregation of Retreat East for a youth meeting with a difference on Tuesday 1 June 2010.

The crowd roared with enthusiasm when Apostle J Kriel and Bishop N Warner arrived dressed in their football kit, carrying a replica of the FIFA World cup trophy. Speed, power, stamina, agility; the attributes of a successful soccer team were insightfully likened to what a child of God requires to reach their spiritual goal.
