The birth of a new lifestyle

The members who form part of Elsies River and Retreat Bishop Areas put on their thinking caps when they, together with the ministers of the area, identified the core essential to their lifestyles with the birth of Interest Groups.

Walking, running, cycling and hiking were but a few of the new adjustment they sought to make in order to have a healthier way of life.
On Saturday 29 May 2010 scores of members could be seen flooding the gates of the South African Navy Sports Complex at Glencairn. Also present were Apostle J Kriel, Bishops N Warner and G James, who cheered the groups on as they challenged one another to speed up their pace on the final stretch of the course. A riveting motivational talk was also given to prospective counselors who hope to make a difference in the lives of others. With everyone’s needs catered for, a cheerful group looks forward to their next activity scheduled to take place in the coming months.
