The congregation of Heidelberg East experienced history in the making on Sunday 17 May 2009.

It wasn’t because the congregation was served by Apostle W Diedericks, but because of the ordination of 20 deacons and 6 priests. 

1 John 1:13 served as the basis for this divine service. Approximately 1360 members, including 50 visitors, listened to the spiritual teaching that the apostle brought in his sermon. The New Apostolic Church is growing in the Riversdale bishop area and the ordination experienced by this congregation will help to provide more ministers to ensure pastoral care.
