On Saturday 13 February 2010 the congregation of Strandfontein Village joined thousands of New Apostolic Christians who embarked on a walk with the proceeds of every kilometer walked donated to a charity of their choice.
The members of the congregation of Strandfontein Village invited the Director of the Mediator Strandfontein Drug and Counseling organization to attend a divine service in their congregation on Sunday 21 February 2010. After the divine service Shepherd John Sims presented the director with a cheque to the value of nine thousand one hundred and fifty rand.
