On Saturday 15 August 2009 the Sunday school children and parents from Lotus River East congregation gathered at their congregation for a musical expo that was arranged by their music team. The aim of this expo was to introduce various musical instruments to aspiring musicians.
This was a wonderful learning experience for young and old as their senses were captivated by the sights and sounds being made by the musicians. The musicians shared some of their personal experiences about learning to play an instrument and as result the children understood that dedication is needed to master your instrument.
The day proved to be a huge success as there were many enthusiastic children asking their parents if they could have one of the instruments. The parents were delighted with the interest their children showed in wanting to add music to their extra curricula activities.
