The leading ministers and members of the Duinefontein and Schaapkraal congregations in the Rocklands bishop area gathered at Duinefontein congregation on Saturday 31 October 2009.
The occasion was to unveil a memorial stone which pays tribute to those from the farming community of the area - known and unknown - who have preceded us into the beyond.
Bishop G February opened the proceedings with a prayer, which was followed by musical presentations, included a very moving violin solo. The proceedings were concluded with the rendition of the hymn, “I’m praying for you”.
