| Reunion of rectors |
 Bishop A Witten served in Belthorn congregation on Sunday 11 January 2009.
What was significant about this service was the fact that rectors who have been responsible for this congregation since its dedication in July 1971 were in attendance. Only one could not be present because he was in hospital. After the divine service the bishop, accompanied by three previous rectors, visited retired Community Evangelist A. Lorenzo in hospital and served him with Holy Communion.
