The preparation intensifies |
 Sunday 8 February 2009 marked exactly 56 days before a blessed encounter – which also happens to be a first time occurrence on African soil – a divine service conducted by Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber for all the confirmands of the Cape.
On the Sunday mentioned above Sunday school services were held across the Cape District Church to introduce the theme for Thanksgiving 2009. In Silvertown this divine service was followed by a lesson given by Bishop A Witten to all the confirmands of the Lentegeur, Kensington and Silvertown bishop areas. The lesson was followed by their routine choir practise whereafter they had some refreshments before heading home.
