 The Sunday school children of Silvertown congregation accompanied by their teachers and their rector, District Evangelist T Adams, went on a surf walk at Milnerton Beach on Saturday 28 March 2009.
The heavy mist that had fallen that morning did not keep the energized children away, the majority of them were brave enough to even go into the water to splash & swim. After all fun and games the children was presented with water bottles “water is Life” with refreshingly cold juice in it that was donated to the church by the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry. The following day, Sunday, 29 March 2009, the SS children received goodie bags which were also donated by the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry.
